As we celebrate International Nurses Day, I would like to take this opportunity to thank our extraordinary nurses at Southern Cross Care (WA).
International Nurses Day is celebrated on the birthday of Florence Nightingale, the pioneer of modern nursing. On this significant day, we recognise the invaluable contributions that nurses make to our communities and to Southern Cross Care (WA).
Every day, our nursing teams act with compassion, care, and professionalism. Their dedication to ensuring every individual receives personalised care, forming special bonds with residents, and communicating with families compassionately during challenging times is truly exceptional.

In honour of our incredible nurses, we hosted special morning teas across our homes. For our home care and Rivervale Office nurses, we organised a morning tea in the Boardroom at Central Office.
