Understanding our disability support services

Our NDIS Support Workers partner alongside individuals to meet the support needs identified in their NDIS package.

We partner with individuals in developing supports and services that promote their personal choice and control, goals, and preferences. Our team only provides support during core business hours every weekday (we don’t deliver services on the weekend).

Our services include Core Supports or Capacity Building Supports.

Core supports

Core Supports help individuals perform daily living tasks and work towards their goals. It is the most flexible support option.
In most cases, individuals can use their funding across any of the following four support categories:

  • Assistance with daily living
  • Consumables
  • Assistance with social and community participation
  • Transport

As part of SCC (WA) NDIS Supports, we can prompt/remind individuals to take their medications, however we will not be able to administer, manage, pay for or store medication.

Capacity building supports

Capacity Building Supports help individuals maintain their independence and build skills.

Budgets allocated to Capacity Building Supports cannot be moved from one support category to another.

If your NDIS plan includes funds for Core Supports or Capacity Building Supports, a SCC (WA) NDIS Team Member can help to connect you with a support worker who best matches your needs and goals.

The costs of disability support care

Prices and fees for NDIS funded supports and services are determined by the NDIS/NDIA.
