Southern Cross Care WA provides a break for carers and the person they care for. It’s a chance for you and them to attend everyday activities, work or go on a break.
When you care for someone living with Dementia, you may find yourself not going to social events, getting enough exercise, or taking care of your own well-being.
Our Respite Care will ensure you have more time for you.
Our Respite Centres offers valuable support to carers of people living with Dementia.
By creating a ‘home away from home’, our Respite Centres are an alternative to traditional services. They are warm, comfortable, and welcoming and can be used on a planned, regular basis or as an emergency service.
Our Respite Centres also offer Carer Support Sessions.
These are designed to help people in similar situations connect and learn about practical tools and resources to help you find quality and balance and live life in full.
