What an extraordinary year! We are delighted to share the Annual Report for FY 24/25.
From launching new strategic initiatives, to providing countless activities to help our people connect and new programs to complement our already wide breadth of services, this Annual Report demonstrates our impact and celebrates our accomplishments over the last financial year. This year also marked the introduction of our refreshed brand and the launch of our Reconciliation Action Plan, reinforcing our commitment to inclusivity and cultural respect.
Here is a preview of some of the initiatives that have shaped the year.
Celebrating our impact
Our 1,027 employees and more than 100 volunteers have supported over 3000 West Australians to live extraordinary lives, every day, connected to communities. Here’s a snapshot of our impact.
Featured stories
Our reform journey
We welcomed the new Aged Care Act on 1 November 2025, bringing major reforms to create a simpler, safer and more transparent aged care system. Key changes include the introduction of the Support at Home program and strengthened Quality Standards to uphold dignity, choice and independence for older Australians.

Mission and ethos
This year, we introduced a Senior Manager Mission and Ethos role to strengthen our identity as a purpose-driven, values-led organisation. This role will support ethical leadership, inclusive culture and alignment with SCCWA’s Catholic heritage.

Supporting our extraordinary people
People who are vitally important is one of our strategic pillars, recognising how important our people are to our success. Leadership development remains a central focus. SCCWA’s Extraordinary Leadership Program (ELP) continued with 12 employees graduating this year, bringing the total to 30 participants from a leadership group of 58.

Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP)
Over the past 12 months, SCCWA has developed its first Reflect RAP, a formal commitment to learning, listening, and building respectful relationships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. The Reflect RAP lays the groundwork for culturally safe care and inclusive workplace practices.

Brand Launch
In April 2025, we launched a new brand identity, Your Extraordinary, marking a significant step in unifying our organisation under a single, recognisable brand. This new identity affirms that at SCCWA, we care about your extraordinary, and we are proud to support it every day.
