Southern Cross Care (WA) Inc. (SCC) was established in 1966 as Southern Cross Homes. It has now developed into one of the largest aged care providers in Western Australia providing care, support and accommodation to over 3,000 customers in Perth suburban and Regional WA areas.  The services we offer are listed below.

Dementia Care

Southern Cross Care (WA) Inc. offers a range of services to people living with dementia and their families.  Our expertise in dementia allows us to offer assistance for customers interested in residential care, respite or home care.

Mental Health

At SCC we strive to ensure people with mental health problems are treated with respect and are offered opportunities to participate across all aspects of life.  We offer various services such as carer and family respite, independent living skills training, psycho-social support and accommodation support.

Home Care

We offer a range of services to those people who need assistance but wish to remain at home through our new health and wellness brand – Southern Plus.

Residential Care

Previously known as retirement villages or nursing homes; residential care services are for those who would like accommodation at an aged care facility.  We have a number of high quality properties which suit individual customers and their needs.

Respite Services

SCC offers a range of services in suburbs around Perth to assist primary carers with the responsibilities of caring for an individual with dementia and/or challenging behaviours.  We have two beautiful properties dedicated to respite which will ensure your loved one feels comfortable and at home.

Disability Services

Southern Cross Care disability services provide opportunities for people living with a disability to increase participation across all aspects of community life.  We recognise the unique strengths of individuals and acknowledge the importance of connections with family, friends and the community.

Ageing in place

Customers have the added reassurance that a number of our residential care accommodation offerings can be adjusted to increasing needs.  This service is referred to as ageing in place.
