Southern Cross Care (WA) Inc has a range of opportunities for volunteers, including:

• Bus Drivers
• Community Visitors to provide companionship
• Pastoral Care Workers
• Day Centre Volunteers
• Companionship at our facilities and at people’s homes
• Office Assistants

You can choose to be very hands on, be involved in specific activities, or come and provide some company to our many residents or clients.

What We Provide To You

As well as caring for our clients, we also care for our staff and volunteers. We recognise the worth of those who give continual unselfish service in their roles. As a volunteer at Southern Cross Care (WA) Inc, you will be provided with an induction, training, and access to specialists, such as the 2007 Nurse of the Year. We also provide our volunteers with direct support through a dedicated Volunteer Coordinator, along with invitations to social and family events.

We warmly invite you to join our team of volunteers and become a part of this caring organisation.

Locations

Our volunteers can work in a range of locations across WA. We provide services from Broome through to Collie.

In Perth, we have opportunities for volunteers to join residential care facilities in areas such as:

• North Perth
• Leederville
• Subiaco
• Forrestfield
• Shelley
• Success
• Rockingham... and more 

Our volunteers can also support our day centres in:

• North Perth
• Success
• Hilton (coming soon) 

If you would prefer to provide companionship to people in their own home, we also provide community care services from Quinns Rocks to Bunbury.

In Broome, we have a range of rewarding opportunities for volunteers to support our residents in our residential care facility or in our community care activities and day centre.
