Bert England Lodge Marks 20th Year

Bert England Lodge marked 20 years in the community last Thursday with a special 20th anniversary celebration attended by staff, residents and invited guests, including the late Dr Bert England's wife, Ruth.
The Cooloongup facility was founded by Dr England, who died in July, and is managed by aged care provided Southern Cross Care on behalf of the City of Rockingham.
It provides accommodation, low care and high care dementia support to 44 residents.
Officially opened in September 1991, the lodge was established after Dr England noticed a lack of residential aged care facilities in the area
